Kamran Matin

Kamran Matin is a senior lecturer in the International Relations department at the University of Sussex where he teaches modern history of the Middle East and theories of international relations. His research interests cover Middle East and African History, Kurdish Studies, Political Islam and nationalism. He is the author of “Recasting Iranian Modernity: International Relations and Social Change” (Routledge, 2013) and and Kobani: What’s In A Name?.
